I qualified from Sheffield University in 1997 and joined Derwent Street Dental Practice as a vocational trainee soon afterwards.
During my time here, I have completed the Straight Forward wire orthodontic course, Invisalign and I keep myself up-to-date with continued professional development.
Away from work, when not running a taxi service for my three children, i play cricket for Bakewell CC, follow Manchester United FC, and enjoy running and walking my black Labrador, Damson.
I am not afraid of the dentist, but due to my wife being my dentist, I have to make sure I’m on her good side before making an appointment!
The thing I like best about working in dentistry is the variety of patients i see. No day is ever the same, i can make a nervous patient laugh and, hopefully, return. My favourite aspect of working at Derwent Street, is that I’ve never worked anywhere else.
