About us
We all undertake continued professional development programmes, to ensure everyone is up-to-date with the advances in dentistry. We provide the highest standard in cross infection control. As many disposable items as possible are used for single use and all other instruments are sterilised in an autoclave. All areas are disinfected following each treatment. All our healthcare professionals are registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and adhere to the GDC Standards for Dental Professonals. We are a member of the British Dental Association's Good Practice scheme. This scheme audits the practice to ensure we maintain standards across the dental field. We were one of the first practices in Southern Derbyshire to join when this scheme started in 2002.
Our practice is on the ground floor and has a wide ramp and doorway for wheelchair and pushchair access. We always regard children as very special patients, and do everything to make their visit as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Our main aim is to help them form good habits, which will prevent problems with their teeth in later life. All patients are seen on a private basis. This enables us to provide an excellent service centered on you as a patient in a comfortable and friendly environment. We are constantly updating our equipment and services to provide high quality dentistry (at a reasonable price).
